After many hours of thoughtful consideration and discussion with my family, I am excited to announce that I am officially running for Navarro County Judge.

I grew up in Corsicana, and know and love the people of this County. I’ve lived here since the Chuckwagon restaurant sat where H-E-B is now, and we all shopped at Fullerton’s and the old Safeway on 15th. This is my home.

After law school, my wife and I decided that this is where we wanted to raise our kids. Our kids attend C.I.S.D. schools. My wife is a former Navarro County CPS prosecutor and now in private practice in Corsicana. I consider it one of the greatest honors ever bestowed upon me that I was asked to join the Navarro County District Attorney’s Office, where I work as an Assistant District Attorney.

We believe in giving back to this community. We give our time and money to supporting our schools. We support the Corsicana Education Foundation. We are members of the Corsicana 100 Club and the Corsicana Police Officer’s Association. I am the Chair of the Corsicana Preservation Foundation and a board member for V.O.I.C.E., the G.W. Jackson Multicultural Society, and Navarro County Victim’s Center. I earned my Eagle Scout rank at Troops 258 and 253 in Corsicana.

Win or lose, I will continue to work to make Navarro County a better place for everyone, but I hope that you will allow me the honor of serving you. If elected, I promise honesty, integrity and fairness. For me, it’s not just a job- it’s a calling. It’s different when it’s your hometown. That is why I am running for Navarro County Judge.
